A man faces a second-degree murder charge in the killing of Roger Seeseequon in northern Alberta.
RCMP responded to a report of a deceased man in South Tallcree First Nation at approximately 8 a.m. on Sunday.
Upon arrival, they discovered the victim with a stab wound.
The 39-year-old man was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton, where the death was ruled a homicide.
52 year old Ricky Seeseequon has been charged with second-degree murder.
He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on August 25.
Tallcree First Nation is about 520 kilometres north of Edmonton.
