On Monday, August 10, Cold Lake First Nations celebrated a significant milestone with the groundbreaking for a new gas station in English Bay. This gas station aims to provide additional services for English Bay and the surrounding area.
However, Cold Lake First Nations emphasizes that the project also focuses on creating jobs and new economic opportunities for its members.
“This project represents more than just a new gas station; it is an investment in our community and our future,” stated CLFN during the groundbreaking announcement. The wider community will soon have the chance to celebrate, as a grand opening for the station is planned for the coming months.
“We are proud to see our community continue to grow and prepare for the future,” CLFN added. “We look forward to celebrating this milestone with everyone when the doors officially open.”
Construction is currently underway, and the property is an active construction site.
