The aquatics area at the Eastlink Centre will be closed for the entire month of September for its annual maintenance. This yearly closure allows the facility to carry out necessary maintenance work to ensure it operates smoothly throughout the year.
During this temporary closure, maintenance crews will perform annual inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs across the aquatics area. This includes work on pool mechanics and water systems, aquatic features, electrical and plumbing infrastructure, pool surfaces, and change rooms. Most of this work is aimed at preventive maintenance and includes repairs that cannot be safely or effectively done while the facility is in operation.
While the Eastlink Centre is closed, members can enjoy complimentary admission to the Beaverlodge swimming pool for public swim sessions.
Additionally, members have the option to pause or cancel their memberships during the shutdown by calling 311.
