The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital Emergency Department will be experiencing four disruptions this week.
The emergency department will be without a doctor on Monday, August 10 from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11.
Three other disruptions are scheduled to start on Wednesday, August 12:
- 8 a.m., Wednesday, August 12 to 8 a.m., Thursday, August 13
- 8 p.m., Thursday, August 13 to 8 a.m., Friday, August 14
- 8 p.m., Friday, August 14 to 8 a.m., Saturday, August 15
Nursing staff will remain on site for ugrent triage, assessments and referrals, while 911 calls will be rerouted to neighbouring facilities.
AHS says these disruptions are temporary and could be cancelled if coverage is found.
