Applications are now open for Alberta’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Scholarship, which provides financial support to students transitioning from government care to post-secondary education.
This scholarship, administered through Alberta’s Advancing Futures Program, will award 25 scholarships, each worth $2,000, to students enrolled in approved degree, diploma, and certificate programs. The province aims to assist young Albertans in pursuing their educational goals while supporting their transition into adulthood.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Scholarship was established after the royal couple’s visit to Alberta in 2011, and since then, a total of 350 scholarships have been awarded.
Eligible students are encouraged to apply before the deadline of August 31.
