Can Man Dan Foundation's We're Here For Ya Day.
From 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 12222 137 Ave, families in Edmonton can gear up for the new school year at the 14th annual ‘We’re Here For Ya Day’ on August 23, offering free backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, nutritious food hampers and more to help students head back to class prepared.

Johnstone says the event reflects his own humble beginnings of attaining school supplies as a child from his mother. Now, he and his team are helping thousands of children start their school year with new school supplies and support they need.
Johnstone says the event began 14 years ago helping a few hundred children, but demand has since grown to an all-time high as more children and families rely on free school supplies and back-to-school support.
