Cold Lake is set to celebrate the extraordinary legacy of renowned Denesųłiné artist Alex Janvier with the debut of a captivating 360-degree film experience beginning August 1.
Titled Soul Symphony: The Art of Alex Janvier, the film brings the artist’s iconic works, personal stories, and rich cultural heritage to life in a dynamic, immersive format.
“We are incredibly honoured to host this film experience in Cold Lake,” said Mayor Bob Mattice. “Alex Janvier had a tremendous impact on the world of the arts, and his talents created a lasting impact in our community.”
Presented in partnership with the Janvier Gallery, the 23-minute film will screen every 40 minutes from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. — offering 13 showings daily — at the Energy Centre from August 1 through August 10.
Tickets will be available at the door only, with each screening limited to 50 seats.
This limited run offers residents and visitors a unique opportunity to experience Janvier’s powerful artistic vision in an innovative new way.
