Residents of the West End Rosenthal neighborhood in Edmonton are eagerly anticipating the completion of the Lewis Farms Recreation Centre and the surrounding park. According to the city, the project is nearing completion, with the recreation center expected to open in 2028.
Once finished, the facility, located just off Winterburn Road and 92 Avenue, will feature a variety of recreational spaces.It will include an aquatic center with a 50-meter pool, a leisure pool, a hot tub, diving platforms, and a waterslide. Additionally, there will be a public library, a twin arena, an indoor playground and daycare, a fitness center, a running track, and a double gymnasium.
