Red Deer County is notifying the public about several road closures in advance of the Red Deer Regional Airshow this weekend. Residents in Springbrook may experience traffic delays due to increased traffic volumes. The Airshow is scheduled to take place from Friday, July 24, to Sunday, July 26.
Consequently, Township Road 372, between Airport Drive and Range Road 282, as well as Range Road 281, from Township Road 372 to Highway 42, will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all three days.
The county recommends that residents in Springbrook access their homes via Tamarac Blvd. or Redwood Blvd. Additionally, on Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Airport Way, from Township Road 374 to Airport Drive, will also be closed.
Traffic flow will be adjusted to provide two southbound lanes to accommodate the increased traffic entering the event parking area.
