Mounties in Fort McMurray are asking the public for help.
On June 29, RCMP received multiple reports of slashed tires in the downtown area.
Sometime between 10:00 pm on June 28, 2026 and 4:00am on June 29, 2026, approximately 30 vehicles had their tires slashed while parked at 15 & 16 Saunderson Avenue and 111 & 112 Charles Avenue.
Wood Buffalo continue to investigate and are looking for surveillance or dash camera footage of the area at the time.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect(s) are asked to contact the Wood Buffalo RCMP at (780) 788‐4000 or 310-RCMP (7267).
