Grande Prairie will host its annual free “Here Comes Summer” event on June 12 to celebrate the arrival of summer. The event, hosted by the city, will take place at Muskoseepi Park from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Mayor Jackie Clayton of Grande Prairie tells CFWE that some of the planned activities include a live DJ, a barbecue, and complimentary swimming at the Aquatera Outdoor Pool.
Clayton explained that this event was initiated a few years ago by the council to bring the community together through various activities.
