19th Annual Red Deer Hospice Run Hike Returns to Bower Ponds June 7

The 19th annual Red Deer Hospice Run Hike will take place at Bower Ponds on June 7 starting at 9 a.m., featuring 1km, 3km, and 5km routes in support of the Red Deer Hospice Society.

Fonda Devereaux, Community Partnership Manager with the Red Deer Hospice spoke with CFWE on the event aiming to bring the community together while raising funds for hospice care and support services, with the goal to raise $60,000.

Devereaux speaks on the run location at Bower Ponds, with the event open for all ages in within the City of Red Deer.

For many community members, the Red Deer is a personal day as many families coming to remember loved ones that hospice supported in different ways.
