Lemonade Day is on June 13, with 63 Northern Alberta communities participating. The purpose of this day is to teach kids business skills through lemonade stands as a business model.
Amanda Robinson, the City Director for Lemonade Day Northern Alberta, tells CFWE that kids must register for the program, where they will attend Lemonade University. Registration will officially close on May 22.
Robinson explained that Lemonade Day was developed in 2007 in the United States and was brought to the Alberta region in 2018.
