The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Wood Buffalo are calling on the community to help fill a police cruiser with non-perishable food donations in support of the Wood Buffalo Food Bank. Officers will be collecting items at the Real Canadian Superstore in downtown Fort McMurray on May 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help support local families in need.
RCMP Wood Buffalo Officer Cpl. Natasha Lytwenko spoke with CFWE on their community involvement and kindly reminds community members to think of their neighbors in need of food this May long weekend.
Lytwenko highlights the donations in need are non-perishable items that can be given to officers on site that supports the Wood Buffalo Food Bank.
