The RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating the death of a 31-year-old Louis Bull First Nation resident as a homicide.
Maskwacis RCMP responded to a reported stabbing on May 1 at 10:20 p.m. Upon arrival with EMS, officers found the victim with a sever neck wound. Despite first aid efforts, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy conducted Monday at the Calgary Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the death as a homicide. The investigation remains ongoing.
