Willow Lake Métis Nation will host their annual Red Dress Day Solidarity Walk and lunch at Bill Woodward School on May 6, recognizing the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirted people.
Rienna Davey, Office Manager with Willow Lake Métis Nation speaks with CFWE on the event that will bring the community together for remembrance, reflection, and connection through a guided walk and shared gathering.
Davey adds that this event brings more visibility towards the message that Red Dress Day brings, along with creating connections within community towards a path of healing.
