A new training facility is coming to the Samson Cree community in Maskwacis. Samson Cree Nation and Maskwacis Cultural College have partnered up on this project expected to be completed by June 1, 2026.
A ceremony was held today in Maskwacis with a pipe ceremony, prayers, refreshments and more.
This facility is being developed to support First Nation members in accessing education and training opportunities closer to home.
