Edmonton and Enoch is turning up the heat as celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay brings Hell’s Kitchen to the River Cree Resort and Casino in Enoch Cree Nation, blending his iconic dishes with Indigenous – inspired flavors that celebrate local culture and Alberta ingredients.
Vik Mahajan, CEO and General Manager at the River Cree Resort and Casino tells CFWE the excitement is building around the restaurant’s arrival, with the announcement going viral on social media and calls already coming in about the reservations.

Mahajan says that through collaboration with Ramsay’s team, Indigenous cuisine inspired by Enoch Cree Nation will be featured on the Hell’s Kitchen menu.
Mahajan says Hell’s Kitchen will seat more than 250 guests and include a year-round patio as part of the construction.
With Gordon Ramsay’s first of it’s kind Hell’s Kitchen Restaurant, comes new opportunities for employment and culinary students with NAIT, as Mahajan says the River Cree is open to students pursuing a place in the restaurant through partnership with River Cree.
Mahajan says the River Cree is targeting a July 2026 opening for Hell’s Kitchen, with chef Ramsay potentially appearing on the opening day or shortly after.
