The Lacombe Performing Arts Centre has a new exhibit titled “Photo Medicine: The Healing Power.” All of the artwork on display is created by local artist Karen Pallister and will be available to view until February 28.
Alison Clayton, the Community Programmer at the arts centre, tells CFWE that much of Pallister’s artwork is inspired by Lacombe and its surrounding areas.
Clayton also mentioned that the arts centre will host an opening reception for the new exhibit on February 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. During the event, Pallister will give an artist talk at 2:30 p.m.
