From February 27 to March 1, the Metis Nation Within Alberta (MNA) will host their 10th annual Youth and Seniors Gathering at the DoubleTree in Hilton in Edmonton.
MNA President Andrea Sandmaier tells CFWE the gathering is a meaningful opportunity to strengthen connections between 400 Metis youth and seniors from across Alberta.
Sandmaier says this years theme of the event focuses on connections and strengthening ties to Metis culture.
Sandmaier highlights what attendees can expect, including bingo, keynote speakers, artisan market, a moose call competition, and a recognition of outstanding community contributions with awards for youth and seniors.
