The 2026 Castor Winterfest will officially begin on Thursday, February 5, with a coronation ceremony. During this event, a resident will be crowned king or queen based on votes and donations from the community.
Angie Boxma, a committee member for Winterfest, tells CFWE that Friday, February 6, will include various activities such as children’s events, fireworks, and opportunities for late-night shopping.
On Saturday, attendees can enjoy sleigh rides, a chili cook-off, live music, and more. The festival will conclude on Sunday with two final events.
