Next week, Six Royal Canadian Air Force helicopters are scheduled to travel from Edmonton to Fort Wainwright as part of a multinational Arctic training exercise.
According to a Canadian Armed Forces news release, a CH-146 Griffon aircraft from 408 Tactical Helicopter Squadron will make the transit between Jan. 26 and 28.
They are participating in Exercise Striking Bat, replicating large-scale combat conditions and involves 1 Wing personnel working alongside the United States Army aviation units.
Other international partners participating include Norway, Italy, and Mongolia.
