The Portage College Voyageurs in Lac La Biche will host back-to-back exhibition games against the Chinese Men’s Hockey team on January 23-24 at the Bold Centre, as part of a tour making stops across Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Mark Kosak, CEO of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference, tells CFWE the matchup in a fantastic opportunity for players to compete against a national team and test themselves against China’s top talent.
Kosak adds the Voyageurs will have national support from fans as they take on the Chinese National Hockey Team, along with witnessing a new playstyle of the Chinese hockey players.
The Lac La Biche Portage College Voyageurs game one against the Chinese National Hockey team will take place on January 23 at 7 p.m., and the following day at 1 p.m. at the Bold Centre.
