Winterruption YEG is getting set for another year of music and arts in Downtown Edmonton from January 21-25.
Started in 2019 in conjunction with Winterruption festivals in Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, and Calgary’s Big Winter Classic, Winterruption YEG works closely with local business and the arts community of Edmonton.
The mission of the festival is to provide an inclusive, diverse and representative showcase of music, drag and comedy in a winter setting in the city’s downtown core.
This year’s version of the festival will feature a number of acts including the Derina Harvey Band and St.Arnaud, two acts that both are from Edmonton.
Winterruption YEG festival producer Brent Oliver joined Darrell Stranger to talk all things Winterruption, new features this year and tips for festival goers.
