Family, friends and community members gather last night for a candlelight vigil honoring Natanis Merasty, who remains missing. Attendees shared prayers, memories, and messages of support, emphasizing the importance of keeping her story in the public eye.
Merasty was last seen leaving the Continental Inn on May 5th in Edmonton, Alberta around 2:37 A.M. in her black 2007 Hyundai Tucson. On May 15th, her vehicle was found abandoned and repainted at the James Smith Cree Nation in Saskatchewan. Last seen wearing a black and grey sweater, black leggings, white shoes, and a black fanny pack.

Her disappearance is considered suspicious. Natanis has “DJM” tattooed on her fingers, a cross tattooed on her forearm, and a rose tattoo on the opposite hand, with a scar on her right eyebrow from a piercing.
