The Lac La Biche Canadian Native is preparing to celebrate Indigenous excellence with it’s annual Indigenous Achievement Awards on October 18.
Donna Webster, Executive Director with the Lac La Biche Canadian Native Friendship Centre, told CFWE that the evening will celebrate community members who contribute in many meaningful ways.
Webster says the event highlights unsung heroes – describing the recipients as quiet, hardworking warriors dedicated to serving their community.
Webster hopes the recipients leave the event feeling acknowledged and appreciated for their continued dedication to community.
