As of January 9, TELUS communications say customers in Northwest Alberta are experiencing a failure of wireless and wired services in their network due to cable damages.
The damage was done by unassociated construction work in the Town of Valleyview on Wednesday, January 8.
Valleyview, Debolt, Sturgeon Lake, Fox Creek and Little Smokey have impacted services like using a home phone, 911 landline, mobile data, texting and mobile voice calling.
Service technicians are on-site repairing the damages, but there is no estimated completion time.
