Most of Central & Southern Alberta, including The City of Edmonton & Calgary are under snowfall warnings on Friday.
According to Environment Canada, there will be a significant amount of snow to hit this weekend, with long periods of snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm expected.
The snowfall is expected to start this evening and intensify Saturday morning.
The snowfall warning is one of a number issued across central and southern Alberta on Friday.
The snowfall is expected to ease late Saturday evening.
