A man is facing multiple charges involving guns, drugs and assault after High Level RCMP responded to a domestic violence call in High Level.
On October 7th, RCMP officers entered a residence under an emergency situation where the couple were staying and were able to rescue the woman, arresting her partner. A warrant to search the house was carried out and police seized cocaine, weapons and body armor.
The man was charged with a slew of crimes including:
- seven counts of possession of a firearm;
- possession of an unauthorized firearm without a licence;
- using firearm in the commision offence;
- forcible confinement;
- assault causing bodily harm;
- assault; and
- uttering threats
He’ll appear in High Level court on November 4th.
