An Edmonton man is facing a long list of charges in relation to threatening phone calls in both Red Deer and Calgary.
Red Deer RCMP received several complaints of inappropriate phone calls aimed at real estate agents as well as people in related fields.
The calls were being made by an unknown male who was threatening and making sexual comments.
Subsequently, The Calgary Police Service Cyber/ Forensics Unit initiated an investigation with similar occurrences within Calgary.
Kyle Richard Shave has been charged with the following offences:
- Harassing communications x 22
- Indecent communications
- Uttering threats x 12
Shave is scheduled to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer on Oct. 29, 2024.
