A man is considered armed and dangerous and is wanted for second-degree murder after a suspicious death in northeast Edmonton on Wednesday.
Just before noon, city officers went to a disturbance call at a home around 138 Avenue and 34 Street. Officers found a 32-year-old man badly injured, police said in a Wednesday news release. Emergency crews treated and took the man to hospital, but he later died of his injuries.
Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation, and an autopsy has yet to be scheduled.
Michael Fereira, 33 is wanted for second-degree murder. Police believe Ferreira is armed and dangerous and have released his picture in an effort to find him.
