Windspeaker Radio Network is looking for an Assistant Audio Producer / Community News Reporter in our Edmonton office.
If you are a natural storyteller, interact well with listeners, enjoy traveling and have some broadcasting experience, WE want to hear from you!
This is a full-time position.
Based in Edmonton, this dual role requires an ambitious self-starter with a responsible service-minded attitude, who is genuinely interested in the community. You will be working as part of a regional team of hardworking, dedicated reporters and on-air staff, with local and remote supervision and support.
Production
- Collaborate with Account Executives to bring ideas to life on-air and online
- Record voices and produce commercials & in-house programs, promos, and station imaging for all Windspeaker Radio network stations
Multimedia Journalist
- Newscasting, field and desk reporting
- Creating multimedia news content for Windspeaker Radio Network Stations, websites and our social media platforms
- Research & Write news stories for on air, and websites
- Represent radio stations at community events
On-Air
- Fill in on-air hosting duties as necessary
- Available for Remote Broadcasts and Station appearances
