Bonnyville Mounties arrested a man who had been serving federal time and was released on parole. While out on parole, 31 year old Craig Alook re-offended and a Canada-wide warrant was called out for his arrest.
“Information received was that Alook was said to be at a residence in Kehewin,” RCMP say.
On the tenth of October, several members of the Bonnyville RCMP went to a private residence and Alook “attempted to flee with a knife and pipe in his hands.” RCMP noted that “After a short foot pursuit and less-lethal use of force, Alook was taken into custody without injury to himself or police. Alook was sent back to jail to finish serving his statutory sentence.”
