The Edmonton Oil Kings will be kicking off their home opener Saturday September 28th with a rare matinee to ensure all family’s can watch some high level WHL action.
As prices skyrocket across the country, the Oil Kings want to remain affordable and accessible for all Albertans. Kevin Radomski is the Director of Business Operations for the organisation and spoke to CFWE about making sure their prices stay the same while everything else rises.
The home opener will coincide with the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Radomski said all players will be wearing a special Indigenous decal on their back of the helmets, in addition to the work their doing for the home opener, the Oil Kings will be providing a field trip like never before for Indigenous youth in March.
