Grande Prairie ALERT seized 19 weapons after an alleged break and enter. ALERT charged two suspects on September 11th after a lengthy investigation and charge approval process.
The attempted break and enter took place on July 31st and saw a total of 19 weapons stolen from the Patterson Place home. In total, four handguns, five rifles and ten shotguns were stolen alongside 500 rounds of ammo. According to ALERT, the firearms were lawfully owned and stored properly.
40 year old Tasha Lanz and 42 year old Denai Lanz were charged with alleged break and enter, possession of a restricted firearm, and possession of a loaded firearm. At this time, Denai’s whereabouts are unknown and a warrant has been issued for the arrest.
