Fort McMurray RCMP Investigate gunshots in the Downtown area

Wood Buffalo RCMP are investigating a shooting that took place Thursday night in Fort McMurray.

mounties were called to a backyard on Clark Crescent, where three gunshots were reportedly fired into the air. Witnesses say the shots came from a suspect’s rifle.

No injuries have been reported.

Police were able to locate two of the three rounds that were fired. The public is being asked to report any suspicious damage found to or on their homes or vehicles.
