The Windspeaker Radio Network, with three FM stations in Alberta & Two digital stations, is looking for a talented Traffic Coordinator / Producer to join our team.
This is a Full-Time position, and is based in Edmonton.
What You’ll Do:
Production
- Collaborate with Account Executives to bring ideas to life on-air and online
- Record voices and produce commercials, promos, and station imaging
- Ensure all local and national ads air on time
Traffic Coordinator
- Prepare daily logs for up to five radio stations
- Reconcile daily logs and investigate discrepancies when required
- Collaborate with Program Director & Sales Manager on features and inventory control
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of commercials
- Work with Program Director to maintain synced traffic & music logs
- Assist Account Executives with WideOrbit orders when needed
What You Bring:
- Production skills with a creative edge
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Great relationship-building skills with clients and team members
- Experience in radio production or a relevant media role
- Experience with Radio traffic would be an asset
- Proficiency with Adobe Audition, Wide Orbit and digital platforms
- A team player with a willingness to learn and improve
- Valid driver’s license
