Canada Day celebrations in Grande Prairie
Join CFWE, Alberta's Best Country Live on Location throughout the Day
Time:
- Canada Day parade from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Muskoseepi Park activities from 3:30 p.m. to midnight.
Event Activities:
- Canada Day parade .
- Free drop-in swimming in two-hour waves at the Aquatera Outdoor Pool from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Live entertainment at the amphitheatre from 3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Full entertainment line-up below.
- Free cake while supplies last beginning at 3:30 p.m.
- Carnival rides and games.
- Beer gardens from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Kids zone with bouncy castles, face painting and roaming entertainment.
- Fire dancers from 11 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- Food trucks.
Festivities will wrap up with a bang during the fireworks display setting off at 11:30 p.m. from the reservoir at Muskoseepi Park. The City will monitor weather conditions and make adjustments to Canada Day plans as necessary. Any updates will be announced on social media and made available on this event listing.
All Canada Day activities at Muskoseepi Park, excluding the beer gardens, are free to attend and participate in. City transit is also free on July 1.

Live Entertainment Lineup
Live entertainment kicks off at the amphitheater with Elder Theresa Gladue singing O’ Canada in Cree at 3:30 p.m. following the Canada Day parade. Live music continues with the following artists performing throughout the evening:

- Brent Boivin Band
- TJ Ruckus Band
- Indigenous performance groups
