Keyano College in Fort McMurray will be the host of the 2023 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference’s (ACAC) Men’s and Women’s Futsal Championships from March 10-12.
There is an exclusive club of schools from all over the province making their way up north to compete for the provincial college futsal title. Both sides will feature 6 teams going head-to-head.
The men’s tournament will feature:
- Keyano College Huskies
- Lakeland College Rustlers
- Lethbridge College Kodiaks
- NAIT Ooks
- SAIT Trojans
- Olds College Broncos
The women’s tournament will feature:
- Keyano College Huskies
- Lethbridge College Kodiaks
- NAIT Ooks
- SAIT Trojans
- Medicine Hat Rattlers
- Kings University Eagles
The tournaments wrapped up on March 12th, with Keyano College taking the provincial title on home turf in both the men’s and women’s tournaments. The SAIT Trojans won silver in both of the tournaments as well, and the Lakeland College Rustlers won men’s bronze, and the NAIT Ooks won women’s bronze.
