Nominations have been opened up for the Lac La Biche County Sports Hall of Fame all year round, but will be officially closing on October 1.
The Lac La Biche Sports Hall of Fame celebrates and honors individuals and team achievements and creates pride in the community. Inductees are recognized through portraits and biographies in high-traffic display areas throughout the Bold Centre. Inductees may also be highlighted on a life-size mural with an inspirational message to promote sport and achievement in the community.
Categories include athletes, teams, and community builders who have made significant contributions to local sports
Inductees will be formally honored next spring at the Celebration of Sports Excellence event, held in partnership with the Portage College Athletics Awards.
Up to four 4 inductees may be inducted into the Lac La Biche County Sports Hall of Fame each year; however, if there are no nominations or suitable candidates, inductions may not occur annually.
