Wood Buffalo RCMP are investigating a Sunday afternoon collision between a pickup truck and a dump truck on Highway 881.
Officers responded to the collision near kilometre marker 263 at about 3:30 p.m.
Witnesses reported an eastbound Dodge Ram crossed the centre line and struck a westbound dump truck.
The driver of the pickup sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken by EMS to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre in Fort McMurray.
The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
Both lanes of Highway 881 were temporarily blocked following the collision.
RCMP say alcohol and speed are not believed to have been factors.
