Canada Soccer has announced the 21 women who will represent Team Canada at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup running from September 5-27. The tournament will take place across four host cities in Poland: Bielsko-Biała, Katowice, Łódź and Sosnowiec.
Three players from Alberta were selected for the team: forward Kaylee Hunter from Calgary, midfielder Taegan Stewart from Calgary (with Stewart designated as an alternate), and forward Sariyah Bailey from Edmonton.
Canada will begin their tournament by facing England on September 5 at 12:00 ET / 9:00 PT. They will then compete against Brazil on September 8 at 9:00 ET / 6:00 PT and against Tanzania on September 11 at 9:00 ET / 6:00 PT. All three of Canada’s group-stage matches will be played at Stadion Miejski in Bielsko-Biała.
