Northwestern Polytechnic’s new skilled trades training centre in Grade Priaire is expected to open on August 26. The new facility is located at the corner of 112 Street and 100 Avenue and will offer students industry-aligned training that emphasizes hands-on learning.
With courses available at both the new centre and NWP’s main campus, the polytechnic will provide apprenticeship and trades training in 11 fields, including automotive service technician, carpenter, electrician, and more.
NWP has invested approximately $29 million to develop this centre, which will expand local skilled trades training to accommodate over 1,500 students.
