Keyano College has launched a new brand identity that highlights its deep connection to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and its commitment to regional stewardship.
The refreshed brand is grounded in the Cree meaning of “Keyano,” which translates to “sharing.”
It emphasizes themes of connection, resilience, and collective progress. The updated visual identity features modern typography and a revised colour palette inspired by the natural landscape of northern Alberta and the Athabasca River.
“This evolution reflects a renewed focus on how we show up for our region and the people we serve,” said Chantal Beaver, Associate Vice-President of Public Engagement. “Our brand tells a story of connection, stewardship, and shared progress. It captures who we are as a community and how we continue to create opportunities for learning, growth, and future success.
The new branding is now live across the college’s website, social media channels, and corporate email communications. Additional elements will be introduced gradually through a phased rollout.
As a key regional post-secondary institution, Keyano College offers degrees, diplomas, certificates, university transfer programs, and continuing education opportunities to learners throughout Wood Buffalo.
