The Edmonton Oilers’ complete 2026-27 regular-season schedule was unveiled on Thursday.
Edmonton will open the new campaign at home on Tuesday, September 29, hosting the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Place with a 8 p.m. MT puck drop.
The Oilers then travel to Vancouver to face the Canucks again just two days later on October 1.
The NHL has increased the regular-season length from 82 to 84 games this season. The extra games come from additional divisional matchups, while the number of pre-season contests has been reduced.
Other key highlights include:
- The Oilers will battle provincial rivals, the Calgary Flames, four times: October 28, March 3, March 23, and April 5.
- Toronto Maple Leafs visit Rogers Place on October 24.
- Montreal Canadiens come to Edmonton on January 30.
- Edmonton will close out the regular season at home on April 10 against the Winnipeg Jets.
The expanded 84-game schedule gives fans more opportunities to see the Oilers in action, particularly against Pacific Division opponents.
