Crews have recovered the body of the crane operator who died after his vehicle plunged into a northern Alberta river last month.
The 300-ton crane went over the edge of the Wapiti River Bridge on Highway 40, just south of Grande Prairie, on the morning of June 16.
RCMP and divers were initially unable to reach the man due to dangerously strong river currents.
The cause of the crash remains unknown.
Recovery efforts continue as crews work to remove the submerged crane from the river.
RCMP are urging the public to keep boats and drones away from the area to avoid interfering with ongoing operations.
