The City of Grande Prairie’s City Hall made an announcement regarding their opening date for the new Multisport Dome has now been pushed back to early 2027.
The announcement was made officially on their website, with no specific reasons for the pushback on the opening, as the original opening was scheduled for July of this year.
The Multisport Dome will feature a full-size soccer pitch, which can also be utilized for other sports such as football and rugby. The building will be located on Trader Ridge at 103 Street and 139 Avenue.
