RCMP in the Kitscoty area are warning residents to be wary of a person who allegedly attended a residence in the Village of Marwayne, stating he was employed with ATCO electric.
Mounties say the male requested that the homeowner remove a lock from electrical equipment in their yard and stated that he was going to turn off their power.
The suspect is described as having a medium complexion, about six feet tall, weighing 190 to 200 pounds, with curly black hair and a beard. He was wearing jeans, a button-up shirt, and a blue vest with yellow reflective stripes, and was driving a newer two-door white Dodge pickup.
RCMP are reminding residents to always verify ID before allowing anyone access to their property, and to report any similar incidents.
