The Canadian Native Friendship Centre (CNFC) and the Métis Nation Within Alberta District Nine office hosted a community BBQ and Giveaway from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring free food, giveaways, and opportunities to connect with with community members in a family-friendly setting.
Joseph René De Meulles, District 9 Captain with the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, tells CFWE the partnership with the CNFC reflects the spirit of community, highlighting giveaways that include food, hygiene products alongside opportunities to build connections with other community members.
