The YMCA of Grande Prairie has partnered with a local skateboarder to host a free youth skateboarding skills workshop on Saturday, April 18, at Keyara Place from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Kids will have the opportunity to learn the fundamental moves of skateboarding.
Codey Inman, the mentor for the workshop, tells CFWE that youths can bring their own equipment, but they also have there as well.
Inman explained that the YMCA wanted to try something new in the community, and he was asked to lead the workshop due to his background in skateboarding.
